After studying and working in Food Commercial Photography, Elke’s deep-seated interest in culinary arts and the exploration of cultures through our senses led her to the kitchen, the garden, and back to the kitchen again. A love for everything centered around food and the way it translates into our energy, Elke draws inspiration from her photography + design background, her travels, her studies and passion for yoga and Ayurveda and her interest in the outdoors and gardens to create spontaneous, nourishing, purposeful and healthful food.

For her, creating a meal is a moment to tell a story, capture a feeling, highlight an ingredient or an idea, nurture the body + mind, and most importantly, to bring people together through the humble act of sharing, slowing down + enjoying.

Elke has been working as a private chef since 2016 around the globe. She received her 200 hour YTT certification in 2018, and her 300 hour yoga and Ayurveda certification in 2021.
